Baptism: A Step of Faith
Publicly declaring your are life in Jesus Christ through obedience and joy

Baptism is publicly declaring your faith in Jesus Christ through an act of obedience and joy. In the evangelical Christian tradition, it symbolizes the believer’s identification with Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection (Romans 6:3–4). While baptism itself does not save—salvation comes by grace through faith—it serves as an outward testimony of the inward transformation that has taken place through the Holy Spirit. Immersion in water represents dying to sin and rising to new life in Christ, and it is a joyful step for every follower of Jesus as they commit to walking in His ways.
